An Old School Friend

In amid of the shiny night

On the roof of my run-down house

I sat alone, wondered and watched

The sky, the moon, the twinkling stars.

I wondered and memories flooded my brain

Until it brought your memory to my heart

I stopped at once and took a moment

To realize how much I miss that laugh.

I couldn’t help but miss every bit,

Of our mutual support to our useless fights,

I knew our friendship was so selfless and pure,

That I could always count on you and your love.

Now that we are far, busy and grown,

Now that we don’t meet like before,

I still know that in my best memories’ sky,

You always shine like the brightest star!
